Villa 203 is located at Cap Maison in Cap Estate on the northern tip of St Lucia. The villa provides a variety of views of the tropical gardens of Cap Maison, the Spanish courtyard and its pool, and out to sea, along with shaded corners and sun traps. The two double bedrooms are on the first floor and both are air-conditioned, each with an en-suite bathroom fitted with a walk-in shower and double wash basins. The master bathroom also has a separate bathtub. The living and dining area is spacious, the kitchen is fully equipped, and there is a lockable owner’s closet for secure storage. Cooling natural coralina stone floors run throughout, with red cedar shutters in every room, and WiFi and smart televisions with cable are included in both bedrooms.

A spiral staircase leads up from the villa suite to the roof terrace and its 187 square foot private pool, where padded sun loungers, open sky and views across the resort make it the natural alternative to the beach or the courtyard pool below. After dark, illuminated pools and terraces create a magical atmosphere under unobstructed stars.

Designed by Lane Pettigrew Associates, the villa is made up of two bedroom suites that can be opened up into a single shared living space or locked down for privacy with completely separate access. The larger villa suite includes the kitchen, the living and dining rooms, the laundry, the owner’s closet and access to the roof terrace, while the second suite comprises a large bedroom, an en-suite bathroom and its own verandah. Both suites have WiFi, flat-screen televisions with cable channels and air conditioning in the bedrooms.

Every villa at Cap Maison is privately owned. Owners can use their villa for eight or nine weeks a year, while the resort markets it for the remainder of the year. Owners pay no management or service charges. The management company covers the costs of running the villa, including staffing, maintenance, cleaning, security, gardening, upgrading of facilities and the replacement of soft furnishings and linens. These costs are covered by the hotel’s rental pool income, with the balance split 50:50 between the owners and the management company, ensuring stable annual returns.
