InterContinental Dominica Cabrits Resort & Spa

The brief

The reason to consider it.

InterContinental Dominica Cabrits Resort & Spa sits on Douglas Bay, on Dominica’s northwest coast, where the forested headland of Cabrits National Park meets the sea a short drive north of Portsmouth. The 151-room resort opened in 2019 under the Kempinski name, and IHG signed it to the InterContinental brand in 2023. Guests have four outdoor pools, a spa, four restaurants and access to the beach. The resort is on Dominica’s government-approved list for Citizenship by Investment, and the Citizenship by Investment Unit’s 2024 brochure lists its shares as available by resale only, so the position here is a share bought from an existing owner, from US$200,000.
